Therapy Focus hopes to spread the valuable messages of inclusion, participation, diversity and acceptance this Christmas, distributing complimentary copies of educational children’s storybook, I Am Special / Jarrah’s Jigsaw to Primary Schools across WA.
04/07/2011The Blue Door rocks the Civic Hotel with their debut performance
The Blue Door, a band of children with disabilities and their siblings, performed at the 2011 ‘Music Rocks the Civic’ concert at the Civic Hotel on Sunday 3rd of July.
The band performed their chosen song ‘Beat It’, by Michael Jackson, as part of a line-up of Perth School bands, to an audience of more than 300 people.

The students of Gwynne Park Primary School’s Education Support Centre are hard at work creating colourful artworks with the hope of being selected as a winner in Therapy Focus’ 2011 Help a Child Grow Art Competition, promoting inclusion, participation, diversity and acceptance.

Year six and seven students at Scarborough Primary School have won their school two new garden beds installed by Great Gardens TV personality, Chris Ferreira, after their entry in the Therapy Focus scarecrow competition was voted most popular by visitors at Garden Week earlier this year.
