The promotion of inclusion of children with a disability or learning disadvantage is central to our mission of helping children grow.
Our community events aim to create a change in perceptions and attitudes towards disability to create a society that is rich in diversity and values each individual's contribution.
- Our free inclusive family fun days celebrate inclusion, diversity, and the abilities of all children. In 2010, our fun days will be held in Wilson, Joondalup and Bayswater.

- Our Help a Child Grow Art Competition invites primary school students throughout Western Australia to paint or draw pictures to help illustrate their unique abilities and appreciate those of others. In 2008 and 2009 Therapy Focus provided a complimentary copy of two published children's story books; The Hidden Treasure of Moondyne Joe and The Kookaburra Twirl, to almost 8,000 children and every Western Australian primary school library.
- As an advocate for children with disabilities, our therapists help educate the community and promote inclusion of all children, no matter what their abilities. Therapy Focus mascot Sunny the Sunflower helps our therapists to engage with schools and the community to spread the positive message of inclusion throughout Western Australia. Sunny has a facebook page where you can spot Sunny throughout Perth posing for pictures with children, families, other mascots and even sporting stars.
- The Symphony of Sunflowers invites everyone to plant a sunflower in recognition of inclusion of all children. The inaugural Symphony of Sunflowers was launched on 3 December 2009 to coincide with International Day of People With Disability. In years to come we hope the Symphony of Sunflowers becomes one of the most important events on the calendar.
