Our annual Help a Child Grow Art Competition invites primary schools to celebrate diversity, inclusion and the abilities of children with special needs through engaging in an education art activity.
The activity received participation from over 5000 entrants across the state in 2009 and received formal support by the Department for Communities and the Minister for Community Services, Ms Robyn McSweeney.
The 2010 Help a Child Grow Art Competition will open as a term two activity and invites primary students to paint pictures to accompany an inclusive story script.
Keep an eye out in the mail for your School Participation Pack, which every primary school in the state will receive in Term 1, 2010.
